Law Courts
[edit]Shouldn't the law courts (Inner Temple, Middle Temple, Gray's Inn, Lincoln's Inn) be listed separately, since they are enclaves not part of the City of London? john k 05:59, 29 Sep 2004 (UTC)
The law courts are enclaves? They don't look like it on Streetmap… — OwenBlacker 13:11, Oct 19, 2004 (UTC)— OwenBlacker 22:24, August 21, 2005 (UTC)
- Lincoln's Inn and Gray's Inn are in the London Borough of Camden, not the City of London. Also they are no longer independent enclaves like the Inner and Middle Temples still are. But yes, they should be (and are) listed seperately, for their special status historically and today (to some extent). David.
- Also, may I add, saying that the Inner and Middle Temples "are enclaves not part of the City of London" is not accurate. They are part of the City of London, just like how Lincoln's Inn and Gray's Inn are part of Camden, it's just they are not governed by the Corporation of London. David.
Flag
[edit]Why is the flag on this template a George's Cross (of England), rather than the defaced version that London uses? — OwenBlacker 13:11, Oct 19, 2004 (UTC)
City of London
[edit]The City of London is not a London Borough. David.
For the sake of completing London's government on this template, shouldn't a like to the ALG be added (say, in the italics where the Mayor is listed)?? Martín (saying/doing) 23:57, 31 July 2006 (UTC)
