I'm a member of the Something Awful forums. I am also a moderator of the World of Warcraft subforum at Something Awful. I don't post often, but when I do it's usually a megapost, such as my software lists or my film review index. I frequently browse the WoW, D&D, SH/SC, and Film Dump forums.
I use Perl for all my scripting needs. For general programming, I use C# and C++.
I use UbuntuLinux because I've gotten fed up with Windows. Also, I am incredibly cheap, and have been known to use things until they are practically falling apart, so the price of Linux (free) helps.
I am a huge science fiction fan. I really don't read anything else. Most of my non-cleanup edits are to science fiction articles.
I love movies. If I were to be provided with an endless supply of movies to watch, I would probably starve to death rather than vacate my couch.
I have an uncanny ability to identify movies based on a quick (two to three second) glance at any arbitrary scene.

Although most of my edits are relatively minor, occasionally I will dedicate some time to creating or substantially revising an article of particular interest to me.
I really don't like Wikipedia's search functionality, so I use Google's search (with I'm feeling lucky) instead. Here's how to add a search shortcut for Wikipedia.
