Swedish article

The article sv:Johan Helmich Roman on the Swedish Wikipedia has a lot of information useful for expanding this article. EldKatt 15:58, 26 Sep 2004 (UTC)

This part should be changed:

[edit]

These pieces are known as the Little Drottningholm Music, or Shorter Drottningholm Music.

Other pieces written by Roman included the Suite in D major , the suite of Sjukmans Musiquen and the Italian-inspired Cantata "Piante amiche".

The Shorter Drottningholm Music is the same as the Suite in D major. This part of the text should therefore be changed. And the mentioning of conductor Claude M Génetay should be restored, I believe. He was, after all, an influential musician and very much responsible for the revival of Roman's music in the late 20th century, with his large number of revisions and concert performances of said music. Besides, he did create the expression "the Shorter Drottningholm Music". This should be mentioned in the article (as it was before), since it is a modern title not coined by Roman himself or any musicians of that age. /Respectfully, as always: --Hallonboat 02:04, 6 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The portrait previously in the article is very likely NOT Roman, as explained on the Commons description page. Therefore I removed it. There are probably no portraits of Roman, so the article should not be equipped with one. /NH (talk) 18:44, 28 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
