Notes for things I'm in the middle of
[edit]- Prefectures of Japan: the following City pages have been moved to City, Prefecture pages, but need the due-diligence of moving old links to the City page.
- Mito - Morioka - Tsu - Nagano - Toyama
- Mito, Ibaraki is basically done. A couple of stragglers appear to be linking to a 'Mito' that isn't the city - this needs a disambiguation page, but I don't know what the other 'Mito' is.
- Morioka, Iwate is pretty close too.

[edit]MLS awards
[edit]Hi Bcordes, I removed the individual awards from team pages, I personally think it makes the sections ugly, and all the info is already listed on the player's individual page. But if you think they're needed there, let me know why please ... --DR31 (talk) 16:25, 1 August 2005 (UTC)
- I actually just posted a comment in the New England Revolution talk page about that :)
- My feeling is that it helps identify what makes the players notable. I agree that the information can be found in other places, but so can things like a team's MLS Cup victories. And I don't think it makes the team pages particularly ugly; personally, I think the pages look awful when they're simply a list of lists, and I'd love to see larger descriptive paragraphs written (D.C. United is a good example of this). But that's just my personal taste. Bcordes 16:31, August 1, 2005 (UTC)
- My only issue with that is, we're dealing with player specific info here, not team info. But as I said on the Rev talk page, if you want, fill them up, just do it for every team (but I would keep All-Star MVP out... see reasoning on Rev talk page). I'd love to see longer descriptive paragraphs too; I did one for Metro, but I just don't think I'm qualified to do ones for other teams. --DR31 (talk) 16:54, 1 August 2005 (UTC)
List of Ultimate leagues up for VfD
[edit]FYI: List of Ultimate leagues just got put up for VfD. I've voted keep, and I think we'll be ok, but you might want to vote on the subject. Wikibofh 05:27, August 13, 2005 (UTC)
- I added my comments. I think it's worth keeping, but I also think it's worth converting everything to a wikilink instead. Ultimate Players Association already exists; some of the others might not, but we ought to be encouring them to be born. You could do something like this:
- That way it looks like a little more than just a collection of links. Bcordes 01:57, August 14, 2005 (UTC)
- If I wanted to be sneaky, I could go through and do this: Fédération Flying Disc France. Doesn't seem quite kosher though. :) Wikibofh 04:16, August 14, 2005 (UTC)
