Unless someone is going to add some actual text about this, I'm inclined to think it should be deleted. Saforrest
The Claude Elwood Shannon article had a link to A Mathematical Theory of Communication; and Claude Elwood Shannon had red colored links to both his masters and ph.d. theses; A Symbolic Analysis of Relay and Switching Circuits and An Algebra for Theoretical Genetics. I just tried to follow the model of
A Mathematical Theory of Communication. If there is a better way to link into these articles, then why doesn't A Mathematical Theory of Communication follow that model? I thought it was better to have some link to the actual article rather than the red links.
humm, Saforrest's comment is from 21:41, 6 October 2004 acording to the history, but I only created this mini-article-to-link-to-the-article July 2005! strange time warp in wikiland...

[edit]Shouldn't this be about his thesis? It seems that only one sentence mentions the thesis while the rest describes how it came to be written. Aside from that, it is almost a copy of the information in the main article. This needs a rewrite to address that. Gershwinrb 06:30, 3 May 2006 (UTC)
Not only does this article fail to describe the content of Shannon's PhD thesis, it describes the content of his Master's thesis instead. Nathan B. Kitchen 16:02, 30 April 2007 (UTC)
