[edit]Wondering how to edit this U.S. County Entry?

Saint Johns, Florida
[edit]Saint Johns is a newly designated town/city in St. Johns County. It encompasses the northwest portion of the county and includes (I believe) Fruit Cove, Switzerland and the Julington Creek development. I don't know if it's incorporated or not, but the U.S. Postal Service recognizes it as a ligitimate town to address mail to. A new page should be created for Saint Johns.
- From my understanding, St. Johns, Florida is an unincorporated community. I could be wrong, though. Skillz187 02:51, 10 May 2007 (UTC)
History
[edit]In the last paragraph under history I removed a ludicrous comparison between the geographic size of St. John's county and the "eleven" states. In 1821 there were actually 23 states. At no point was there eleven states. Any third grader knows we started with 13 states in 1776 and the number never went down from that. Besides that, a quick glance at any map of the U.S. will make it very obvious that the entire state of Florida would comprise a fraction of the eastern sea board. In fact, Florida totals about 65,772 square miles. New England alone comprises nearly 72,000 square miles. I am astonished that someone else didn't notice this. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 107.144.213.97 (talk) 21:56, 24 May 2015 (UTC)
Saint Augustine and Jacksonville
[edit]Jacksonville is in Duval County. Saint Augustine is not a part of Duval County or Jacksonville. Saint Augustine is not a suburb of Jacksonville. The leaders of Jacksonville should remember this. 2601:346:C280:3B30:75A8:374:EE24:24E0 (talk) 14:38, 8 July 2022 (UTC)
