Kaleidoscope on the air
[edit]Could mention that radio adaptations of Kaleidoscope were aired by BBC (AT-1996), Bradbury 13, Dimension X, Shape of Things to Come (BBC, 1991), Mindwebs and Suspense. This from The Plot Spot and elsewhere. 97.113.131.139 (talk) 21:59, 4 July 2020 (UTC)
FULL OF SPOILERS
[edit]This page is full of spoilers. Don't give away the stories in the descriptions. Geez. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 130.76.96.154 (talk) 18:35, 1 May 2012 (UTC)
- "Plot Summary" change to "Plot Summary with Endings" approved by DVdm. (see Illustrated Man section) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User_talk:DVdm 130.76.96.154 (talk) 21:25, 1 May 2012 (UTC)
- Not "approved" merely noted that it might be okay but others might object. If you ask me it is a technical avoidance of using the word "spoiler" while still achieving the same aim (so actually in breach of WP:SPOILER QU TalkQu 21:28, 1 May 2012 (UTC)
Remove plot details of other books
[edit]I expect spoilers for The Illustrated Man on its own Wikipedia page. I do not expect plot details of Something Wicked This Way Comes. Thanks a lot. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Asm5449 (talk • contribs) 15:49, 2 September 2014 (UTC)
Dark Star
[edit]I don't buy the claim that the Kaleidescope story inspired the movie Dark Star. Dark Star ends with one of the protagonists surfing through space to his death; but the rest of that movie is a wry, hippie comedy whose plot bears zero relationship with Kaleidescope. I don't believe even that the ending of Dark Star was inspired by the ending of Kaleidescope.
So: I will delete the claim if a citation doesn't appear 'fairly soon'. MrDemeanour (talk) 17:11, 26 May 2016 (UTC)
And now I have deleted it. MrDemeanour (talk) 19:05, 5 July 2016 (UTC)
