Mainstream popular music
[edit]Intro paragraph is incorrect, idol music is not the dominant/most popular music genre, that would be Ballad by far. Especially boygroups these days aren't listened to by the public anymore and while many 4th Generation boygroups continue to have a big international following, they and their songs are practically unknown in Korea. Especially with the rise of K-hiphop, idol boygroup music is pretty niche in Korea nowadays, only girlgroup music is still listened to by the public. Idol K-pop is a lot bigger internationally than within Korea. Ktaec (talk) 00:19, 28 November 2022 (UTC)
