Beezlebugs - can I use your snap of William D. Boyce for our Muthaiga Club, Nairobi, Kenya members coffee-table book - we need it to describe the first balloon flight he made in Kenya in 1909? Thanks Steve...--80.240.200.21 15:25, 1 Jun 2005 (UTC)
Hi BZ. Only 110 joined BSA since its founding by William D. Boyce? -- Rj 04:45, May 11, 2004 (UTC)
- Thanks for pointing that out, Rj. I went back and fixed that.--Beelzebubs 01:13, 12 May 2004 (UTC)
Yo Patric dont be such a suck up. "Please stop vandalizing wikipedia" Dont Make me tell wikipedia that your the lyceum leader you backstabber i cant beleve you have the nerve---Yammy Yamathorn
- Er.....gentlemen? I think you just "told wikipedia", not that most of us care who the lyceum leader is, as far as I know. I hope you can both focus on contributing well and not on tearing each other down. Thanks, Jwrosenzweig 22:58, 12 May 2004 (UTC)
- Thanks, Jwrosenzweig. Unfortunately, I know the above user, and he seems intent on vandalizing Wikipedia. As for the phrase "lyceum leader", it has little or no meaning here. And yes, I am focusing on contributing meaningful contributions to WP. --Beelzebubs 00:40, 13 May 2004 (UTC)
Hi, and welcome. Can you post your reason for nominating Philosophy of time to Votes for Deletion? The comment page is at MediaWiki:VfD-Debate Philosophy of time, you just had one extra space when you posted it. --Ben Brockert 00:50, May 13, 2004 (UTC)
- Hi Ben. When I posted that, I somehow screwed up the format so I couldn't get onto the right debate. Thanks for fixing it.--Beelzebubs 01:02, 13 May 2004 (UTC)
- No problem, it's what I'm here for. I'm always glad to see new people on VfD. --Ben Brockert 01:07, May 13, 2004 (UTC)
- I would Be very pleased if you didn't use the word screwed, It's very Troll like.---Rick K. 23:12, 13 May 2004 (UTC)
- Please disregard this user -- that's his first edit. He's trying to masquerade as User:RickK, I believe. I do think you and Yammy could botch watch your tempers a bit, but I think you've both improved quite a bit (and you seemed much calmer through the whole thing anyway). Thanks for your contributions. Jwrosenzweig 23:16, 13 May 2004 (UTC)
- Anytime, Jwrosenzweig, anytime.
I noticed you started a Cub Scouts of America article and I just wanted to let you know that Cub Scouts already exists. Perhaps merge the two? – Jrdioko (Talk) 22:51, May 14, 2004 (UTC)
Sorry...I must have tried every possible combination of the words Cub and Scouting before thinking that no such article existed. Foolish me. Yes, it would be best to merge and keep Cub Scouts of America as a redirect to Cub Scouts. I'll get on it right away--Beelzebubs 22:58, 14 May 2004 (UTC)
- I redirected my first article and added relevant info to the existing page. Thanks for alerting me--Beelzebubs 23:12, 14 May 2004 (UTC)
Hi Beelzebubs.. just wondering why you put a "speedy delete" message on "The Council"? We have articles on other Star Trek: Enterprise episodes. All this needed was an explanatory note at the top so the reader knew what show it was talking about, which I have placed there. --Stormie 02:02, May 18, 2004 (UTC)
- About that...I must have gotten a little "deletion happy", and Star Trek is not exactly my area of "expertise". As you can see, I should have checked before adding the boilerplate. But it was good to add the explanation. Beelzebubs 02:07, 18 May 2004 (UTC)

Orphaned fair use image (Image:Cold Mountain movie poster.jpg)
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:Cold Mountain movie poster.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Fair use rationale for Image:Wanda_at_large.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Wanda_at_large.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use. Suggestions on how to do so can be found here.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Rettetast 11:11, 19 September 2007 (UTC)

Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Anthem book cover.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:Anthem book cover.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot (talk) 04:38, 12 February 2008 (UTC)
