Chocolate Rocket Citation

[edit]

Here's an article mentioning Carter as "the player sometimes known as the 'Chocolate Rocket'" http://wwwrealitycheckeyesontheprize.blogspot.com/search?q=chocolate+rocket

Granted it's a blog, but nicknames are things that grow out of pop-culture so a blog may be our best bet in this case for a citation.

Soul Brother

[edit]

To be honest, I've never heard that term used regarding him, and I lived in Vancouver last year when he played so there was a lot of media about him that I saw. Could anybody get a citation or a source for that?Gregmitch 09:46, 29 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Chocolate Rocket

There is no source for this nickname, please stop adding it until you cite it's source. As for the other nickname, I think I remember reading about it in an interview, but I can't seem to find the link anymore. --164.107.210.182 07:25, 24 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

  • you think you remember?
    • any canucks fan who doesn't remember that nickname wasn't paying attention, jerk

Merger proposal

[edit]

The article was merged -- Moonriddengirl (talk) 03:04, 28 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I propose the merger of Big Up Entertainment into this article. I came upon it while addressing WP:CSDs tagged for deletion for notability concerns. The record label currently does seem to lack stand-alone notability. It doesn't meet the criteria for a major independent label as set forth at WP:MUSIC. Its press coverage seems to be trivial and in context of Carter's other notable factors. In my opinion, its notability therefore relates to its founder, and hence the subject would be appropriate for a paragraph in the parent article. The merger will leave a redirect, so individuals looking for the company will not be floundering, and the article can be re-established as stand-alone when it does become individually notable. --Moonriddengirl (talk) 15:42, 14 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I was confused at first when I saw a proposed merger with "Big Up Entertainment," but after reading your explanation, putting the info about his record label on his page with a redirect sounds like the right thing to do, for now. --Muéro(talk/c) 16:26, 14 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I can see how that would be confusing. :D --Moonriddengirl (talk) 16:31, 14 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
