New Creation?
[edit]New Creation? How does John Wilmot, Earl of Rochester fit in? Deb 12:01, 25 Jan 2004 (UTC)
- A different creation of the earldom, which became extinct upon his death, I think. john 19:35, 25 Jan 2004 (UTC)
- This is an error. Laurence Hyde was the third Earl of Rochester. Henry Wilmot was the first Earl of Rochester and the infamous John Wilmot--Henry's son--was the second. The title I believe then became extinct after Laurence Hyde. This needs fixing.WildeRochester (talk) 08:06, 9 December 2009 (UTC)WildeRochester
