WikiProject Cities
[edit]Wondering how to edit this U.S. City Entry?
The WikiProject U.S. Cities standards might help.
Notes to myself
[edit]- More detail on the area's watershed can be found here.
- Add Iron Horse Trail
- Add city government info and history like when Pleasanton first started directly electing the mayor (1986).
- Add Tulare Lake
- Add municipal park info, Pleasanton Ridge and related issues (ie. Hayward Hotel)
- Expand culture section, add Firehouse Arts Center, public art projects
- Flood of '55
- Commons search http://commons.wikimedia.org/w/index.php?title=Special%3ASearch&search=pleasanton%2C+california&ns6=1&fulltext=Search
- Add Alisal (from Aliso)
Removal of sourced content
[edit]Why on earth has someone completely wiped away an entire historic cultural section (Architecture) from this article and made the page BLAND and uninformative? The page used to look beautiful and interesting, but now it makes Pleasanton look like another uninteresting cookie-cutter surburban hellscape with no history. Why don't you finish the job and remove the rest of the Arts and Culture items because they're not on some notable registry of historic cultural activities? Unbelievable!
