In The Pink?
[edit]An observation; nowhere, on the original album release, is the narrative character referred to as “Pink”, no lyric reference, nothing on the artwork, etc. There’s no argument that during the concept phase he may have been called “Pink”, and indeed during the film, his childhood friends call him “Pinky”. But, aside from the fleshy pink human / doll laying on the ground on the album cover art, there’s no actual identification of “Pink”. The name, is also a carry over from the song “Have A Cigar”, “Oh, by the way, which one is Pink?” ( A joke about the days when the band got tired of explaining their name, to unconcerned studio heads.) 75.106.32.81 (talk) 18:21, 4 July 2024 (UTC)
- In "In the flesh", he calls himself Pink.
- "Pink isn't well, he stayed back at the hotel". 70.94.198.1 (talk) 03:15, 9 July 2024 (UTC)
- AH! There’s the rub! Well spotted! I’ve listened to the album since it came out, and completely forgot THAT reference! ( Forgetting, possibly, that Pink suffered from multiple personality problems, as well.) 75.106.32.81 (talk) 18:44, 26 July 2024 (UTC)
Track listing
[edit]I had to scroll all the way to the end of the article for the track listing what happened to the table of contents? Antignomi (talk) 03:50, 4 August 2024 (UTC)
- I checked the articles for all of Pink Floyd's studio albums, and they all have the track listings near the end of the article. Do you see the table of contents in the left-hand margin? That's where it appears with the new Vector skin. Regards, Kiwipete (talk) 09:11, 4 August 2024 (UTC)
- Oh! I didn't even notice the new skin. That helps a lot, thanks Antignomi (talk) 09:12, 4 August 2024 (UTC)
Why is "Goodbye Cruel World" the only song on the album that doesn't have its own article?
[edit]Title is all I can think to ask. MountainDew20 (talk) 16:44, 21 September 2024 (UTC)
