You have shown an interest in Denmark or Danish related topics in the past, so I invite you to have a look at Wikipedia:Danish wikipedians' notice board. It is a tool to help people interested in Denmark post articles they'd like to see, and to keep track of the existent coverage of Denmark. It can also serve as a place to address concerns regarding any aspect of Danish coverage on the english wikipedia. Hope you find it useful! In any case, could you please look at it and fill in any articles you know of that are not covered by the list? Thanks,

Dave's Picks Volume 7
[edit]Greetings, TraxPlayer. Thank you for creating the Dave's Picks Volume 7 article. It looks good. I've added some references, which are always a plus, and made some additional edits to it. Thanks also for your other Grateful Dead related edits. (If you reply here I will see what you say.) — Mudwater (Talk) 01:08, 9 July 2013 (UTC)
- Hi. And thank you for all your work on Grateful Dead topics. Now we just have to wait for the inner notes for technical personnel etc. TraxPlayer (talk) 18:53, 9 July 2013 (UTC)

Dave's Picks Volume 12
[edit]Greetings! One way to find links to songs that appear on Grateful Dead albums is go to User:Mudwater#Grateful Dead, and click "show" on the Songs section. And as far as figuring out who the songwriters are without having the album liner notes, I generally look at other GD album articles on Wikipedia, and also at the song pages on DeadDisc. One other tip: When creating a new article, it's always a good idea to include a few references. You can usually find those using Google or another web search site. — Mudwater (Talk) 22:36, 8 October 2014 (UTC)
Disambiguation link notification for February 2
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Dave's Picks Volume 13, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Not Fade Away. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Next GD album
[edit]Greetings, TraxPlayer. About your recent edits to Dave's Picks Volume 14, what do you think the next Grateful Dead album will be? I don't know the answer for sure, but Dave's Picks Volume 15 is scheduled to come out August 1, and 30 Trips Around the Sun is scheduled to come out September 18. Do you know of another GD album that's coming out soon? — Mudwater (Talk) 11:20, 5 June 2015 (UTC)
Greetings, Sorry. I thought (without thinking too much) that 30 Trips would be the next release. You are probably right that DaP 15 will be next. Too much hype about 30 Trips TraxPlayer (talk) 11:30, 5 June 2015 (UTC)
- Yep, plenty of hype all right. Thanks. — Mudwater (Talk) 11:51, 5 June 2015 (UTC)

[edit]Thank you for contributing to Wikipedia. We always appreciate when users upload new images. However, it appears that one or more of the images you have recently uploaded or added to a page, specifically Talk:FRACTRAN, may fail our non-free image policy. Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Hi, I'm RonBot, a script that checks new non-free file uploads. I have found that the subject image that you recently uploaded was more than 5% in excess of the Non-free content guideline size of 100,000 pixels. I have tagged the image for a standard reduction, which (for jpg/gif/png/svg files) normally happens within a day. Please check the reduced image, and make sure that the image is not excessively corrupted. Other files will be added to Category:Wikipedia non-free file size reduction requests for manual processing. There is a full seven-day period before the original oversized image will be hidden; during that time you might want to consider editing the original image yourself (perhaps an initial crop to allow a smaller reduction or none at all). A formula for calculation the desired size can be found at WP:Image resolution, along with instructions on how to tag the image in the rare cases that it requires an oversized image (typically about 0.2% of non-free uploads are tagged as necessarily oversized). Please contact the bot owner if you have any questions, or you can ask them at Wikipedia talk:Non-free content. RonBot (talk) 17:19, 21 July 2018 (UTC)
Dave's Picks Volume 28
[edit]Greetings, TraxPlayer! Today, Dave's Picks Volume 28 was officially announced. Perhaps you are considering creating a Wikipedia article for the album. If so, I would request that, when you create the article, you include several reliable, third-party references, to help establish the notability of the album, in the Wikipedia sense. As it says at WP:GNG, "If a topic has received significant coverage in reliable sources that are independent of the subject, it is presumed to be suitable for a stand-alone article or list." Generally this should be demonstrated by including several footnotes that reference the sources. In this case, there's an easy way for you to do that. You can just copy and paste the references that I added to the Grateful Dead discography article, here. Just put them at the end of the lead section. Then at the end of the article include a Reference section, with the {{Reflist}} template. Easy-peasy! If you'd rather not create the article, that's okay too -- whatever works best for you -- but if you do create it, including the references is what I would strongly recommend. (If you reply here, I will see what you say.) — Mudwater (Talk) 01:10, 13 October 2018 (UTC)
Greetings Mudwater! Thanks for your guidelines, refs etc. I will surely use it when I create the page later today. TraxPlayer (talk) 16:39, 15 October 2018 (UTC)
- What I meant was, I recommend including the references at the time that the article is created. What I want to avoid is having the article nominated for deletion, on the basis that the subject of the article does not meet the General Notability Requirement -- based on not having any references. That actually did happen a few years ago -- see Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Dave's Picks Volume 17. Things turned out okay that time, but, you never know. So, I've gone ahead and added the references. — Mudwater (Talk) 00:45, 18 October 2018 (UTC)

Dave's Picks Volume 29
[edit]Greetings, TraxPlayer. I notice that you are working in your sandbox on creating the article for Dave's Picks Volume 29. Cool. I would like to suggest and recommend that you copy some or all of the footnotes for that album that are currently in the Grateful Dead discography article. Those include some good third-party references that will help establish the notability of the album, and also link to additional information for our readers. "P.S." When you're ready, you could hit the "submit your draft for review" button, but another approach would be to just go ahead and create the article yourself. As long as it has good enough footnotes, that should be okay. If you want me to look at it first, or if you have any other questions, just let me know. — Mudwater (Talk) 23:07, 7 February 2019 (UTC)
