Hi Richard, I reverted your addition to list of photographers. You seem to be new around here and may have misunderstood the purpose of that list. It's not a big deal, I'm just trying to explain what I did and why. The list of photographers article is just a list with pointers to more detailed articles about photographers. Longer descriptions are not really appropriate. Second, you added information about yourself to the main article namespace. That is widely frowned upon because it could be perceived as vanity, which should be avoided according to Wikipedia policy. The text you added would have been appropriate for your own user page (which is User:Richardnyc), but not for an article. Like I said, you're new around here and were probably unfamiliar with Wikipedia policies, which is understandable. No harm done. --MarkSweep 16:54, 21 Jan 2005 (UTC)
